Capcom Announces Resident Evil 6 DLC
Capcom has just announced some free DLC being in the works for Resident Evil 6. The add ons will be delivered via a title update coming later on, adding extra functionality to Ada Wong’s campaign as well as a new difficulty mode. Right now, Ada Wong’s storyline is only accessible to those who complete Resident Evil 6’s three other campaigns. Ada also operates solo, meaning there’s no opportunity for co-op play of any sort. Meaning, if you were playing with a friend through the Jake, Chris and Leon arcs, your co-op partner is cut off from the fourth and final segment of the game. The update lifts both of those restrictions, meaning Ada’s story will be accessible at any point, and she’ll be accompanied by an yet to be revealed partner. Also, Capcom plans to add one more difficulty option to the game, titled “No Hope.” Capcom has yet to release any details on what kind of adjustments “No Hope” will make to the game - Capcom’s Unity blog refers to it as “super hard.”
