The World Wide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) took place today in San Franciscom California. Apple had the keynote address this morning. Apple does not allow live video of their conference to be streamed or shown on TV, so millions of tech heads had to wait on their computer for bits of information to come though on blogs and twitter feeds. At 10:00AM pacific time, Apple High Priest Steve Jobs hit the stage to talk about some of Apple’s big plans to get your business this summer.
Jobs first discussed the iPad. Currently available in 10 countries, the iPad will be a staple of geek’s lives in 19 countries by the end of July. Over 35 million iPad apps have been downloaded, which comes out to about 19 apps for every iPad. Apple is updating the iBooks app today, which lets you read books on phones and the iPad. Now you can make notes in books and bookmark pages.
